Nobody nullified your wishes. That's why you're wasting your time going off about all the things with which you disagree rather than living for the things you believe. You're sitting here wishing people would agree with whatever you say and injecting your rhetoric with as much vitriol as you can find, and I can't figure out what purpose it serves. You began writing this to laud Mr. Frazier for an exemplary review and found yourself telling him he was brainwashed a paragraph later. But what about you? Who's in your brain? And what are you doing here?

" if you're the Kenyan-born"

If you believe Obama was born in Kenya, then you are a moron whose opinion means absolutely zero.

And you called Democrats low-information voters.

Thanks for doing a review of a different sort...critical yes, but thoughtful, with intelligent points and accurate references. You clearly took admirable steps to prevent your own biases from turning this review into just another defensive, shrill set of far-left wingnut platitudes aimed at the slack-jawed throngs of low-information democrat voters. These are people who are being methodically and deliberately inculcated with the bizarre, invented notions that corporations are all necessarily evil by nature; that the profit motive, instead of ensuring our very survival, is somehow evil and selfish; that capitalism is bad; that companies are not groups of people working toward a common goal and creating jobs in the process; that government is here to save the day by creating jobs; that America is the one country on earth that is worse than all the others combined; that it should first be pillaged and its spoils distributed among the tiny few wealthy elite leftists at the top of the food chain (with a few bucks sprinkled from the private jet down to the toothless, illiterate hordes as payment for pulling the D lever); then demolished and replaced with a dull gray socialist nightmare where there is no such thing as income inequality--as long as you don't count the filthy rich, hypocritical pigs at the top of the pyramid who fly those private jets (or a couple of 747s if you're the Kenyan-born former Illinois Senator and his entourage) to "global warning" conferences.

One thing I would add in response to "the fact of the matter is that the nation has collectively decided that it doesn’t care, for better or worse": The fact of the matter is that over half the nation has zero clue who the hell Saul Alinsky or Bill Ayers are, so the nation has "collectively decided" nothing of the sort whatsoever. Right-thinking citizens absolutely DO care, James, that an actual terrorist bomber can hold down a tenured position as a university professor and do TV appearances instead of being tried for treason, convicted, and executed. Moreover, we don't decide things "collectively" in this country; plenty of other countries would welcome you and all others who want to live that way. You and half the nation have been brainwashed to believe this republic is really a democracy. In a democracy, 51% of the people can nullify the wishes of the 49% minority. We are a republican nation specifically to prevent the tyranny of a democratic majority, so that individuals' votes matter. We're the only bastion of individual thought actually standing up proudly and defending it in the world today. But the world doesn't want the preciouis gift of responsibililty, individuality and self-governance, hard-won at the barrel of a gun; they are sheep who like to be taken care of and dictated to by an authoritative adult figure. They want to know that their neighbor is living just as boring and mediocre a life as they are. No inequality allowed.
