					<description><![CDATA[While I get the point that having Nick in a mental institution at the beginning and end is not faithful to the book, I&#039;d suggest that it permits the rest of the story to be faithful to the book.  It forces a look (as well as hearing) of the actual descriptive language of The Great Gatsby.  Without it, FSF&#039;s language would be missing entirely.  And just having the movie state and show the language would have been unexplained.  It permits a closer adaption of the book than would otherwise have been impossible.]]></description>
