Arsenio Hall returning to late-night this fall with syndicated talk show

Arsenio Hall will return to late-night this fall with a brand new show. There had been rumblings of deals in the works ever since he won “The Celebrity Apprentice,” but now, it’s official: Arsenio Hall will once again host his own late-night talk show.

Somewhat surprisingly, the deal was not struck with NBC, the network that aired “The Celebrity Apprentice.” Instead, Hall has teamed up with CBSTVD, which will produce the new show for syndication.

The show will air Monday through Friday, mostly at 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., depending on the station. Thus far, it has been sold in all of the top 10 markets and 17 of the top 20 markets. 52 percent of the United States overall will be able to watch, provided no further deals are struck by the time the show hits airwaves in the fall.

Hall’s famous foray into late-night, “The Arsenio Hall Show,” ran from 1989-1994. “It’s an amazing feeling to be going home to my old friends and colleagues and firing up our ‘Night Thing,’ ” Hall said. “Let’s get busy … again!”
