The first trailer for Gangster Squad, Reuben Fleischer’s (Zombieland, 30 Minutes or Less) first film not starring Jesse Eisenberg, has hit the web and is embedded above. The film, a chronicle of the L.A.P.D.’s fight to keep East Coast Mafia types out of Los Angeles in the 1940s and ’50s, stars Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Josh Brolin, and Sean Penn.
Warner Bros. recently yanked the film from its October release date and this trailer provides no hint of a new date, so we’ll keep you posted when they finally set something in stone.
