Twilight fans determined to follow Robert Pattinson everywhere are in for a shock this year.
The new trailer (see above) for David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis hit the web today, and it promises a return to the extreme, sometimes campy strangeness of the films that made him a name director. Based on the novel by literary darling Don DeLillo, Pattinson plays a wealthy man experiencing a helluva day, often from the confines of his high tech limo. The combination of Cronenberg and DeLillo promises some especially bizarre occurrences.
The film also stars Paul Giamatti, Jay Baruchel, Samantha Morton, Juliette Binoche, and Kevin Durand. It will debut in competition at the Cannes Film Festival, which announced its lineup today.
