“The Man With the Iron Fists,” an upcoming martial arts film with an irreverent tone, has a new red band trailer. The film stars Russell Crowe, RZA, Lucy Liu, and Byron Mann, all of whom are featured in this ultra-violent trailer. RZA plays a blacksmith who finds himself immersed in a war between rival Chinese clans. I recently interviewed Mann for an article I wrote for the Washington Times, and he assured me that the action scenes were going to blow the minds of martial arts fans. Judging from the trailer, the film is certainly aiming to please finds of elaborate fight choreography and brutal violence.
“The Man in the Iron Fists” is directed by RZA, who co-wrote with Eli Roth. A release date has yet to be announced, but it is expected to hit screens early next year.
