According to Deadline, “Law & Order” junkies will see their favorite franchise on TV for at least another year.
NBC has renewed “Law & Order: SVU” for a 14th season. The network has also ordered Law & Order honcho Dick Wolf’s new series “Chicago Fire,” which will take a look at adventures of the men and women of the Chicago Fire Department.
The “Law & Order” franchise has been on the airwaves since 1990, when the original series premiered. It spawned four spin-offs, including “Law & Order: SVU,” now the only surviving incarnation.
